Paname
Paname is a colloquial name for Paris, cleverly acknowledging the bar-come-restaurant’s position on Place de Paris. If you wondered, Paris was given this nickname at the beginning of the twentieth century because Parisians had widely adopted “panama” hats, made popular by workmen who dug the canal of the same name. Paname is the perfect place to brunch, lunch and drink cocktails (or if you prefer, a “Paname Pils”, a blonde beer which they brew themselves). They offer brunch staples such as avocado toast which will come adorned with pomegranate gems and other instagrammable accessories, matcha waffles, “pardon my french toast”, truffle mac & cheese and rancheros eggs.
