THREE PLACES FOR TEA

Fall arrived from one day to the next in Luxembourg and all I want to do is cocoon myself inside chunky knit sweaters, sip hot drinks and read. Inspired by my autumnal mood, I wanted to share my three favourite places to have a tea in Lux.

KAALE KAFFI

As cosy as your grandmother’s living room, Kaale Kaffi is the type of place where you can lose yourself in a book for hours, surrounded by mismatched antique furniture, art and curiosities.

OBERWEIS

The flagship Oberweis store on Grand Rue has a coffee lounge on the second floor where I always take my guests as it is a Luxembourgish institution. Their pastries are exquisite and are displayed like precious gems in jewelry store-esque glass cabinets. They have a selection of teas, I recommend the Romeo & Juliet green tea made with papaya, strawberries and rosé petals.

TZONE BOBA

This place tucked away on Rue Beaumont specialises in bubble tea and waffles. I love its spacious, modern setting with black walls, concrete, wood and succulents. Drinks wise, my favourite is the milky latte with brown sugar tapioca. The bonus is that it’s open Sundays.
